In 2010, we established three awards to recognize outstanding creative works that promote environmental awareness : ECO Photographer, Filmmaker and Artist of the Year.

Named in honour of the Festival’s inaugural year, the Ripple Effect Award is awarded to a local or student filmmaker whose film demonstrates positive action towards the social and ecological health of our community.

The winner of the Ripple Effect Award is selected from amongst all the 2010 film submissions; a separate submission is not required.
