Hamilton's 3rd Annual
Environmental Film and Arts Festival
Partnership with the James Street North Crawl
Working in partnership with local arts organizations, galleries and downtown businesses, the ECO Film & Arts Festival will “green” the Friday, April 9th James Street North Art Crawl. Several downtown arts organizations and businesses will feature an environmental theme for the evening. This will be Hamilton’s first Nuit Vert — an eco-inspired celebration of the arts.
Partnership with the Hamilton Spectator’s SpecKids Unlimited Charity
The ECO Film & Arts Festival welcomes the Hamilton Spectator as a 2010 media and community partner. A portion of the ticket proceeds from the April 7th Opening Night Reception and Photography Exhibit at the Art Gallery of Hamilton Pavilion will benefit the SpecKids Unlimited Charity.
Partnership with Students Bridging Borders
The ECO Film & Arts Festival welcomes Students Bridging Borders as a co-presenter of the 2010 festival. SBB will host the April 10th Student Expo and 7 nights of environmental film screenings at Westdale Secondary School.
Partnership with the Art Gallery of Hamilton
The AGH will present the film Horse Boy, on Wednesday, April 21st as part of the 3rd annual ECO Film & Arts Festival. The Art Gallery of Hamilton has been a co-presenter since the festival’s inaugural year, 2008.
