Highlights of the April 7th - 24th festival

  • Wednesday, April 7th - Opening Night Reception and Photography Exhibit at the AGH featuring musical acts The Rest and Ginger St. James
  • Friday, April 9th - Art works and film screenings by local artists and filmmakers throughout the James Street North Art Crawl
  • Saturday, April 10th - Student Expo at Westdale Secondary School, hosted by Students Bridging Borders
  • Tuesday, April 13th - Friday, April 23rd - 8 nights of acclaimed Canadian and international environmental films, preceded by local films
  • Saturday, April 24th - Earth Day Hamilton-Burlington’s 15th annual Earth Day Walk and Tree Planting
  • Saturday, April 24th - Closing Night Fundraising Concert for the ECO Artist Fund

Call for Submissions
Invitation to create environmentally-inspired work for 2010 festival
  • Ontario filmmakers, photographers and artists
  • All Hamilton-area students and Ontario post-secondary students: films, photographs, fashions and art


Acclaimed Canadian film Waterlife will be our first feature, April 13, 2010. Director Kevin McMahon will be in attendance.

Oscar-nominated movie, The Cove will be our special Earth Day feature. Expedition Director Simon Hutchins will be in attendance.
